Jimmy Ness
Jimmy’s music addiction was triggered by a childhood obsession with the Space Jam soundtrack. Despite never becoming tall or skilled enough to achieve his dreams of cartoon basketball glory, he’s continued to enjoy beats, rhymes and that funky stuff. Since leaving his homeland New Zealand for London, he's emptied his bank account whilst visiting 30+ countries, but is yet to discover the hidden location of Ghostface’s illustrious eagle bracelet. Jimmy currently holds a special place in his heart for the Notorious BIG, 90s R&B, sacred geometry, olives and Michael Douglas’ movie The Game. He also enjoys writing in-depth music interviews, getting articles published in print, and avoiding listicles. You can find most of his recent and decent stuff at the creatively named www.jimmyness.com. If you’re from Rolling Stone and you’re reading this, you can contact him at [email protected] or follow him on Twitter @Jimmy_Ness. Luckily, everyone else can speak to him there too.

Fall Mixtape: Jimmy Ness December 8, 2014
Jimmy Ness bites the eel by the dozen Rather than opt for songs emotive of grey scale weather, blocked-guttering and shrinking daylight hours, I’ve compiled this fall mixtape as a snapshot of music I’m currently digging.
