There’s not much more to say about Thundercat that I didn’t lay flat here. Brian Josephs added insight on his brilliant album here. The part-time jester, full-time giant of the LA Jazz scene drops the video for “Them Changes,” complete with Samurai informercial and casual Edo-era clashes. This might be my favorite song of the year. I might rather watch this 50 times than the new Ninja Turtles reboot. When Stephen Bruner is finished, they’re going to build him his own memorial pagoda outside of Locke High.
