Son Raw reminisces over you, my god.
Because original Dubstep still sounds crazier than 90% of music out today, and because these guys were creating genuinely new sounds at the peak of Retromania when everyone else was rehashing the 60s-through-80s. While it’s easy to criticize the Dubstep generation’s choices since we switched decades, as time marches forward I suspect we’ll celebrate their early achievements and forget the rest, after all most musicians never shift the paradigm at all. Once you’ve done that you deserve to put out as much house music as you want, you’ve earned that career. Extra points for Sgt Pokes and Crazy D on the mic – a party ain’t a party without the right host.
