What you may be less of aware of, though, is the latest holiday gift from El-P and Killer Mike, the video for A Christmas Fucking Miracle. While it’s hard to do this spectacle true justice, let’s see if we can hit upon some highlights: El-P as Tiny Tim, for some reason unable to master the intricacies of using one crutch. Killer Mike as Scrooge in the best wigged performance by an MC since the Diabolical dropped “Just a Friend.”
Both in some of the ugliest Xmas sweaters you’ve ever seen re-enacting, well, really horrible Christmas card pictures. And, completely depending on your point of view, two kids encountering what is either the absolute worst or best Mall Santa Claus on the planet. Oh yeah, and then there’s the Ghost of Christmas Future tearing up a guitar solo at the end just because. Based God bless us, every one.
