Almost a year had elapsed since the last Low End Theory podcast. To be honest, I thought they might be quietly done. The night still cracks every Wednesday, but the podcasts seemed to be the best way to articulate the indefinable. There are only so many adjectives for “awesome” and at a certain point, saying “you have to see it” feels like an empty cliche. I’ve been in line and listened to Europeans talk about first getting put up on the spot thanks to the magic of the podcast. In other news, I have a podcast and this is totally an attempt to sway you towards podcasts about magic (and illusions).
Back to this podcast. With Nocando handling narration, all four resident DJs/beat barons take their turn to shine and scan all ticks on the dial from Danny Brown to concussive beats, to flips of The Simpsons theme song.
