Harold Stallworth has a pink suit on layaway.
The Game’s latest DJ Skee-curated mixtape, Operation Kill Everything, will probably get lost in the ether of Datpiff fodder, and that’s okay. He’s one of the few rappers smart enough to save most of his stellar records for retail albums.
But at 19 tracks deep, he was bound to let at least one undeniably great song slip through the strainer. “Breakfast With Al Pacino” is a predictable sob story bookended by not-so-predictable claims to have broken bruschetta with the academy award winning actor. He insists that Martin Scorsese should’ve cast Pacino in Casino, presumably in lieu of Robert De Niro, which is considerably more blasphemous than his Jesus Piece LP. The Game’s career may be running on Worldstar fumes, but he still raps like the bullier of the bullies.
