This episode is either one of the best Shots Fireds we have ever done or the most offensive. I suspect both. It starts out with us slandering Street Fighter II characters and moves into the Marilyn Manson and Gucci Mane song “Pussy Wet.” Then we throw shade on Drake’s “Wu-Tang Forever,” discuss tranny knife fights (somewhat related to Eddie Murphy’s new song with Snoop). There are also brief asides on the history of Detroit techno and we play some larynx-breaking new rap music from Jonwayne and Quelle Chris.
In addition to being an excellent rapper and producer, Quelle Chris might be the funniest person in hip-hop. He and Jonwayne need their own A&E sitcom airing after Action Bronson & Riff Raff’s sitcom. Isn’t that what Revolt TV is supposed to do? Let’s make this happen universe (along with my campaign to make Suga Free poet laureate of LA, but that’s a different story). I’m posting the episode below the jump, alongside a bunch of new Quelle and Wayniac music. If you only listen and decide to write hate mail about one podcast this year, make this episode of Shots Fired the one. And if you’re going to A3C next month, come watch us do a live podcast with guests Aesop Rock and Rob Sonic.
