Paul White goes full Humbert Humbert in name only. No clue why the Nabokov novel gets the title of this track, considering the feel is more astral funk than pervert dance music. I imagine he either read the book or watched the movie or listened to too much Kellz during its conception. This is another leak from Watch the Ants, one where the the drums take tribal precedence until everything starts moving in musical unison like a Pixar film. “Lolita” could convince even Humbert and Clare Quilty to agree on something else.
