I wholeheartedly endorse Toro y Moi’s decision to full on embrace smoked out boogie funk. A totally awesome decision and the Dam Funk refreak of “Say That” makes too much sense (see below the jump).
In summary: flea markets > thrift shops. Toro y Moi > Everything called chillwave in 2010. Puppies > Everything.
