I’m working on a long feature about Willie the Kid, so no need to cannibalize myself. Just know that Breakthrough (Sept. 18) is a snarling beast– Black Sabbath if Ozzy wanted bass not bats. “Impulse” finds GLK and Daedelus indulging their weird side, which might be their normal side. It’s the eerie and raw, ideal music to rip someone’s fucking face off and then meditate afterwards.
