He is as likely to put you up on Adrian Gurvitz as cover Prince, which he gracefully does on a cut from his Stones Throw maxi-single.
“17 Days” was the original B-side to “Purple Rain.” Originally written for Vanity 6, Prince opted to keep it for himself and we won as a result. Over a quarter of a century later, Dam-Funk makes sure the rain still comes down.
