YG might be the most popular young street rapper in LA. This video has been out since last April, but it only relatively recently entered heavy rotation on Power. I have not seen it mentioned anywhere on the Internet. After all, YG isn’t exactly going to get thinkpieces commissioned from The Awl. Hate all you want, some of us will always be suckers for a sample from The Chronic and a record that you would be embarrassed to listen to in front of your parents.
