Flyer on the sidebar aside, I haven’t been promoting Who Da Coldest NYE too hard on this site. This is out of respect for Jeff Weiss’ baby but mostly because studies show that none of you guys both live in Montreal AND come out to raves. And by studies I mean that I’ve never met anyone who’s come out and said “dude I like your site” at a party. Soooo, rather than spend my time online, the past few weeks have been an intense crash course in party promotion and the event has gained a substantial amount of traction with the entire Montreal bass community rallying around what promises to be a kick ass night of debauchery and Footwork music. Just in case a few scraggly locals are still checking the site however, I’ve got a couple of treats to coax you out of your hobbit holes and out into the night come December 31st. First up, the video above features Montreal’s first proper Footworker multi: we shot it on a blistery winter day and we think it does a cool job of letting you know what the party’s all about. He’ll be performing in person come rave time too. Second, we’ve got a new Tyler, the Creator remix by Paveun, who’s handling the opening spot at our night.
