“Give us a year, we’ll probably be in a Lear.” So A.Dd+- claim on their latest cut, a declaration of faulty rap economics. Pretty much only Birdman is dumb enough to blow briefcases of cash on Lear Jets, and unless A.Dd+- get signed to Cash Money and start making Taylor Swift rap, they’ll probably be lucky if they can fly Virgin America first class. We would all be lucky to fly Virgin America First Class.
“Genocide” is another very good rap song from the guys who the Dallas Observer basically called the best Dallas rappers ever. I’m not well versed enough in D-Town rap lore, but I know they are better than Dorrough and just about every other rapper that you read about on the blogs. I prefer the 808s and Heartbreakdown at the end to the actual futuristic cyborg beat, but both Paris and Slim absolutely snap on this. When Big K.R.I.T. and them eventually collaborate, bloggers will spontaneously combust, or at least people will start making Outkast comparisons that I can understand.
