The Passion of the Weiss is a blog run by Los Angeles-based writer/journalist, Jeff Weiss. Typically focusing on music, The Passion is also known to cover everything from television and film to the occasional outing of closeted professional wrestlers. Jeff has written about music and pop culture for a variety of publications including The Los Angeles Times, LA Weekly, Idolator, Village Voice, New York Magazine’s Vulture Blog, Stylus, The Arizona Republic, The State, & Rap-Up Magazine. His essay, “Soulja Boy: Cranking the Chain” appeared in the 2008 Da Capo Best Music Writing Anthology.
