As Rob Harvilla sagely pointed out: the The Black Keys are every writer’s seventh favorite band. We here at the Passion of the Weiss are no different. Should you disagree, I will point you to Chulahoma, the best psychedelic blues album of the last decade (out of three made total). I have no clue what “Gold on the Ceiling” means, but it sounds like a Rick Ross invention. Thus, I hesitantly endorse it.

I was more making a joke about the paucity of psychedelic blues albums made in the last decade. I’m sure they exist, but I can’t think of any off hand. Maybe someone else does?
