Sach O is a helluva drug.
As the resident Odd Future cheerleader/apologist, I feel compelled to post this ASAP. What can I say? I don’t find myself listening to much rap these days but when I do, I prefer Dos Equis angry teenaged hooligans. Still, even my famously Tyler-averse compatriots have got to support this: Pharell in full on Bobby Digital mode, Pusha T shaking off the awkward self-awareness that stilted his development post Hell-Hath-No-Fury and young Tyler forgetting about his problems for a minute and enjoying himself. Everyone’s excited to be working together and no one wants to drop the ball: competitive Hip-Hop as it should be – ancient Dave Chappelle reference aside.

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion, but I can’t really see calling this “horrible” if you’re a fan of HHNF-era Clipse/Pharrell production unless you’re just hating because Odd Future’s involved.
And if you hadn’t noticed, this blog’s music coverage covers WAY more than just Hip Hop/Rap
