Thanks to the insight of iTunes shuffle, the obscure Artifacts cut “Yo L,” from DJ Clue’s Springtime Stick Up Part 2, ’96 highlighted a couple minutes of my Tuesday night. In the purpose of spreading the gospel of the forever overlooked, El Da Sensei and Tame One, the cut and the mixtape are below. Also, because “yo” is “oy” backwards.

::pushes rap nerd Cazals up:: Actually, Jeff, this track isn’t so rare because it was later included on their sophomore album That’s Them, retitled as “Art of Facts.”

It’s bizarre listening to Clue scream “New Artifacts!” after a decade of listening to him screaming shit like “New Ja Rule!”
