Sach O used his Shaolin poison to set up your master.

Rae’s got the juice now. With the knowledge of an older God and a rekindled fire that has him out-spitting young Turks left and right, The Chef has the “elder rap statesman that can still rap” spot in a sleeper-hold and it doesn’t look like he’ll be letting go anytime soon. We’ve already gone in on how he spent 2010 guest performing on practically every single Hip-Hop album of note and Butter Knivez already wet our appetite for his insanely hyped Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang but this title track is another beast entirely. Over an ultra-hectic beat, Rae spazzes out Jackson-Pollock style, spraying darts in semi-automatic bursts of beautiful abstraction. With his reputation restored and the weight of Cuban Linx II off his back, it’s easy to tell that Raekwon’s having fun again, trying new flows and tweaking old formulas into dynamic new shapes – something that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago. That Kung-Fu skit as an intro screams “eat your hippie heart out Rza”.
