Off the Books transpires in less than 24 hours. The plan had been to devote separate posts to each artist, but I’m overambitious and need an intern to help me get that chicken. I’m loathe to do these link dump type posts, especially for artists worthy of well-chosen words, but time isn’t on my side if I’m going to catch Dungen tonight. You understand.
If you’re in the LA area and reading this, I assume you’re either considering going, or staying home and watching the deadly combination of Boardwalk Empire, Eastbound and Down, and Bored to Death. However, that’s what DVR’s for. If you’re going to the Bowl, you can still make it downtown in time for Kimbie and Shlohmo. And if you’re not in LA, you probably want to tell me to shut the fuck up.
