I’ve written about Dibiase before, so no need to rehash the wikiography.  I do that at Pop and Hiss, and am out of $4.99 adjectives for one day. The first single from his forthcoming Alpha Pup record is called “Lumberjack” and is of Dilla descent. I dig it, but prefer when he flips the themes to  “Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out,” or “Castlevania,” or “Mega Man 3,” or “RC-Pro Am.” As though he were a Low End theory analogue of Ikonika. The full length is very good too — what I imagine sophomore stoners would want to soundtrack a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. But much better than that sounds. Unless, this is involved. In which case, all bets are off.
