While Dubstep producers are known for being stingy with the goods and incredibly protective of their intellectual property online (fair enough), Grime material has floated about more freely, at least since the genre moved towards the mixtape as a its main form of distribution. Still, it’s not every day that genre-originator Wiley drops 10+ zip folders of tunes on the unsuspecting public via his twitter feed. Landing somewhere between Lil B’s torrential stream of consciousness, Madlib’s 1 take madness and a vault clearing hard drive dump, the material’s quality varies wildly and ranges from ultra corny house-rap, pure grime and everything in between. Even the most dedicated fans will need to whittle it down to the gems but if you’re partial to this stuff, there’s more than enough good tunes to make it worth your while.

Thanks, Sach. Maybe Wiley’s totally nuts, but in this particular instance I have no qualms about taking money from a madman.

Sach! Many thanks for the heads up on this. Pretty awesome of him. I look forward to sifting through the cuts.

So apparently this is the result of his label refusing to release his album after he sacked his manager via Twitter.
