Their early career stuff is more timeless, but some of their later catalogue is still worth checking out - Coming Up is loaded with good tunes, you just have to pretend Britpop never happened when you listen to it. 'suede', 'dog man star' and the first half of the b-sides collection are all priceless, though the rest is muck. i sat in front of brett anderson for three hours on a train the other day. i only realised this as i was getting off, which is lucky, as i would have embarrassed myself something rotten otherwise. he seemed like a 'chill bro', at any rate. quite right too. ‘suede’, ‘dog man star’ and the first half of the b-sides collection are all priceless, though the rest is muck.
