		<description>God, Blur is such a weird band. On the surface, they're complete dilettantes, trend-hopping from Madchester rave-rock to Britpop to American indie to world-music inflected dance stuff. And yet they're still recognizably the same band through it all.

Blur is one of those bands that you don't think you like all that much ("Blur? Meh, they're okay I guess") until you suddenly realize, with some shock, that you somehow own all their records and can recite all their songs from memory. Or maybe that's just me.</description>
