I wanna say Hudson Mohawke has an album coming on Warp or Planet Mu. I first heard him from Elucid, he did a beat for Elucid. He is also featured on MAGr's "No News Is Good News", their track "Buttafly". He's ill.

yeah that may be the case! perth, in western australia, is kind of more a "dance music" town than anywhere else in australia, though i think that's to do with the high amount of UK ex-patriots that live here. whatever the case, for some reason it's a big drum'b'bass town. and lately that's become a pretty big dubstep town... but hudson mohawke is more of the "wonky" type of producer. although for him, maybe the term "experimental R'n'B" is more appropriate. anyways, i don't know what kind of distro the Warp stuff gets over in the US, but his 5 track CD EP is worth copping, and he has an album coming out sometime in October I think...

I could be totally out of it, but I've never heard of him. My impression is that Dubstep and all Warp stuff in general tends to be much bigger overseas than in America.
