Aiyo, my wiz play the flute, I stroll through the forest like
Peace, pussies, trees, hello, how was your day?
Remember how I said that we weren’t going to talk about The Wizard of Poetry? Well, that was just an elaborate ruse.

I was about to email you this cover but I figured you were already on it…
Is there any chance this won’t be amazing?

I dunno, that “Baby” song was none too hot. I wish he’d saved this image for a non R&B album but I’m not complaining. If nothing else, this is album cover of the year.

Oy vey. I missed “Baby”…just checked it out and wasn’t thrilled either. I thought the concept with this record being R&B was about the lyrics and not the production. I mean, I kind of always thought all the Stylistics, Delfonics, Manhattans, Emotions, etc. samples was R&B…I hope this record isn’t lots of nondescript hooks and carbon-copy Ne-Yo beats.

Inspired by your album countdown the other week, I listened to Fishscale properly for the first time today from start to finish and it blew me away – can’t think of a hip hop song quite like ‘Underwater’ and ‘Whip You With A Strap’ almost brought a tear to my eye. Stunning stuff!

Brilliant cover.
Isn’t it “GhostDeini” though.
