Clearly, sir, you misjudge the import of the man's videography. Let's review some of the more important lessons learned from MJ videos:

1. Billie Jean--not until Pee Wee Herman would step onto the scene a few years later would society realize the importance of bowties (or lack thereof).
2. Black & White--Remember the face morphing scene? That alone helped convince untold throngs of children that, hey, maybe i SHOULD try hallucinogens.
3. Black & White (II)--With the continued pairing of MJ and MC, the world was getting a better and better understanding of just how fucked up that lil' Home Alone bastard would become.
4. Bad--You can credit New Jack City all you want, but would you have bothered seeing Blade if not for this? Well, probably, but still.
5. Scream--At that point, we all needed verification that MJ and JJ were NOT the same person. Problem solved (probably).

i could go on for days, but i think you dig from whence i'm coming.

"they gawk at women..."

I've always found it really bizarre that his videos try to make him out as a heterosexual male. In "Thriller" it's believable, but by "The Way You Make Me Feel' it's like... the male flipside of a Mariah Carey video as appropriated shot-for-shot by Melissa Etheridge.
