The kids nowadays don't know what they are missing with their ipods and mp3 players. A cd is nice, but a mixed tape takes some goddamn commitment. You are looking at 120 minutes of starting and stopping the record button rougly every four minutes. I miss those days. Nowadays, the worst you have to worry about is just finding the music. Back when it was you and a boom box, you actally had to sit through the recording process, lest the track you were trying to record accidentally moves onto to the next one. There was actual time and effort involved in those things. i don't have many mixtapes left, but i've got dozens of mixtape covers still in a box. The actual tape might go bad, but those memories remain money.
