Jon: I feel the same way. I listened to it a few times and it never quite came together for me.
I like “Phantom Power” a lot more; it has a similarly casual feel to it but with better songs.

I’ve been following these guys since radiator came out. Their album Rings Around The World is epic. They’ve slowly lost their spark over the last five years, although the lead singer revived himself by joining Neon Neon. Listen to Rings. One of my top 10 Albums.
