Great write up. Puts a different spin on the album that I've listened to over a hundred times.

Can I Live II is a bonus track on the reissue of the CD. Its not on the original pressing of the tape or CD.

'Can I Live II is a good song but favourite on THAT album? Damn!"

Maybe I just like the way it's sequenced coming after "Regrets." I like the way it makes the album sound triumphant especially coming after the sobering "Regrets." Granted, I thinking "Coming Of Age" might be my second favorite song so maybe I just have a thing for Memph Bleek.

My copy of the album has "Can I Live II" on it which might be my favorite song on the entire album.

It's the quality of 'Ain't No Nigga' that's always struck me, doesn't sound fully mastered. You know I'm gonna geek out on spotting those moments now, don't you?

According to Jay, Jaz' sole contribution to "Ain't No Nigga" was just hitting the pad on the sampler to loop it everytime the 2-bar loop was done. If you listen closely there are a couple of parts where the loop isn't exactly on point.
