Any kind of music festival I go to these days I seem to spend 70% of the time trying to have a nap somewhere usually inappropriate - perhaps in a port-a-loo; of course, in that case I'm probably not trying - it just happens, as if my body is trying to prove a point. Couldn't agree more on Secretly Canadian: When it comes to review time I seek those discs out of the pile like a fungi-frenzied Truffle Dog, except I don't urinate on them. Said it before and said it again: his stuff sounds like the middle section of Olivia Tremor Control's "Dusk at cubist castle" without the pop songs surrounding it. Although in his defense, I'm guessing that's what an OTC album might have sounded like had they released one at 22 which makes Wavves an argument for higher entry level barriers in the music industry if you ask me.
