Not to disparage the man for attempting to get paid–those mixtapes certainly aren’t bringing home the turkey bacon. But this is arguably the lamest thing I’ve seen a rapper do since Meth and Red did those deodorant commercials. Except those were two of the greatest rappers of all time and Mickey Factz is….a guy who drives a Honda Accord. Maybe he can call Kevin Barnes for advice on how to weather the storm?

I think it is refreshing to see a rapper, who has no history & obviously not that much money yet, do this sort of commercial. I think it is a little corny, but I applaud it. This is the type of thing that more rappers should get behind. Kids who look up to them will see them as more accessible. Especially for someone in his position who may potentially alienate fans with a Escalade commercial for example.
Why is it so wrong for him to make this commercial?
