The entire Lethal Injection album is awesome. Not sure what you have against "Cave Bitch," I'm sure you have a strong opinion about it. But, it's great just for the sample alone that starts out the song. And, I'm sure it has a bit of truth to it too.

Oh, and "Back To The Hotel" is still a great party song.

Pretty much--I think I was in the 7th grade when this album came out and true to form for Junior High white rap fans of the day, I thought "Bop Gun" was the greatest song I had ever heard. I also liked N2 Deep's "Back to the Hotel," so what did I know.

Internets Celebrities director Cas and myself were major Ice Cube stans and high school seniors when this album dropped. We co-reviewed it in the school paper... the only thing we've ever written together. IC videos are unscripted so they dont count.

I'm not sure how or why someone co-authors an album review but nevertheless we did....

From what I remember of the review we were pretty positive about the album while noting it wasn't Cube at his best. True to form for white rap fans of the day, we worried more about dance/pop leanings or the excesses of Bop Gun than we did Cave Bitch. But we hailed Down for Whatever as redeeming of the album's mediocre moments.

Bootlegs and B-Sides which came out shortly after and featured remixes for What Can I Do, Lil Ass Gee, It was a good day had some other dope shit on it too. That was the end of things....
