What about that kick ass L'il Wayne jam where he makes those siren noises? Or is that sonnet being groomed for the 1-25 list?

Much thanks for including the zip file for download. The tunes, as well as the letter to Mos Def, which said everything I've been thinking about the Mighty Mos for the past few years, made my evening. Your blog is always must-read for me, but you've officially taken it to another level lately. Well done.

And Tray, go back and listen to Moment of Truth again, fuck the reviews and try to justify the position that Primo "lost it." Definite classic.

The reason I love this year end list dealio so much? Instead of wasting my precious time with piles of hopelessly shitty mixtapes, Weiss does all the heavy lifting and gleams only the gaudiest gems from them, to be presented in a handy dandy list. Thank ye.

Tray: You really are committed to this whole contrarian thing, huh?
I'm pretty sure the consensus is that Preme started to lose the plot when The Ownerz came out. "Moment" is great for the reasons Doc listed.
He's still done a lot of great tracks since then, IMHO.
Hell, Gang Starr's "Battle", also from 2002, is one of my favourite Premier beats.
