While I am eager to read or hear a new Rae interview, I'm now at lost for anything going on with OB4CL2.

Most anticipated? By the time it drops Lil Wayne will probably have the hottest verse on Detox, which will not be released because Eminem's next CD is destroying the charts. Who knows.

His last two albums were classics? Everybody is entitled to their own opinion.
<b>"I’ll be able to set off another trend of sound."</b>
Is he taking credit for RZA's production now? OK. I know what he means, but what is hey saying?

What ever happened to cohesive projects that had a direction or vision? Multiple producers

If you really want a better interview, check out any recent RZA interview. He's actually working, recording, releasing, having fun, you know, doing something. And he's far more engaging.

LOL @ Rae "I think all of my albums are classic" That is definitely a negative for CL 2 haha. But I guess a positive is that the Vatican Mix Tapes have been pretty banging

A, I'm unabashedly thrilled to make your shared items, and B, on re-reading this interview, though I'm not too optimistic about the album, it does kinda make my day to see that Rae still says "pollying." Although I think the spelling that folks like Steve Flash Juon have settled on is "polying/poly/polied." It's short for politick, I think. Now what exactly Rae means when he says he's politicking... you've got me. It's not running for the Senate. Maybe it's all part of the implicitly political nature of his raps or something. Let's ask Michael Eric Dyson.

He said he was putting it out through Icewater but I thought that Nature Sounds was distributing it as part of a joint venture deal or some shit. Then again it was supposed to drop in February '09 but now it's March. So I guess it'll be Watchmen in theaters, OB4CL 2 in my mailbox and I take a break from blogging.

Great interview although this obviously means we'll have to push back the release our new "Art of the Swagger" double LP until at least Q4 2009. Thanks Weiss.

"What he’s neglecting to mention is that Scott Storch, Swizz Beats and Eminem are handling 70% of the rest of the album."

Doc Please, please, please tell me you're kidding. I cannot see Rae over any of the aforementioned three's signature beats. i doubt anyone can. Even worse is the scenario in which these three made attempts at a Wu-Tang sound. * Shudders

And Tray: Why must you hate on my oblivious sense of optimism? I hear what you're saying, but I wasn't really THAT disappointed with all of their last records. Actually, all of their last LPs were pretty decent. I haven't gotten to the point where those many big names on a record dont get me hyped.

I'm quite jaded enough to not go wow. You've heard RZA's latest work. You've heard Dre's latest work. You've heard Pete Rock's, Marley Marl's. If they weren't legends, we'd just say they're okay producers at this point.
