Yeah, I mean, that’s exactly why you haven’t seen anyone do it. Diddy would definitely put a hit out on the guy who did it; Jim Jones might, though he seems way too studio gangster for that, but his people definitely could; Kanye, though, I don’t know. Like I could see his people being like, we can’t take the financial hit that would come from you being put on blast like that, we’ve gotta take drastic measures. But I can’t see him authorizing any real violence.

Speaking of songs about closeted basketball players, how come nobody’s tried to come up on a How To Rob-esque kind of “These Are All The Rappers Who Are Gay” joke/diss record? Is it because Kanye and Diddy are too powerful? It seems like such an obvious way to get on.

I have trouble picking my favorite B&S album. Tigermilk, Dear Catastrophe and If You’re Feeling Sinister are all great in my book. Then again,I view the band the way Nas fanboys treat Nasir’s catalogue. I can even find good things to say about Nastradamus…er, Fold Your Hands and Walk Like a Peasant.
