Any sort of objectivity I may have had regarding Zilla Rocca’s music has long since passed. It’s near impossible to be objective when evaluating a friend’s music, particularly when said friend praises you on the great Wake Your Daughter Up for the “massive amounts of weed [you] smoke and the hot women [you] get.”
So I’ll spare the long-winded, biased paean to Zilla’s ability to rap. Instead, I’ll point you towards the following reviews, whose praise I wholeheartedly co-sign. And of course, download the mixtape below. After all, it’s hard to dislike a rapper that makes Yahoo Serious, Teddy Ruxpin, and Mr. Roboto references in consecutive bars.
