And actually I'm not all that much of a Beck fan either although I like a fair bit of his stuff including the new record. I guess I just always felt Odelay was overrated. I have all the albums and await everything they do next, but I find it hard to fall head-over-heels in love with the band. The Bends, OK Computer, Kid A and In Rainbows are all albums that I can pull out on a rainy weekend afternoon, and when I listen to them I just think "Man, this is brilliant!" But then once it ends I don't feel like playing it again for awhile. It's actually how I feel about Pink Floyd (post-Syd Barrett). Anyway, love the blog. To paraphrase Demetri Martin, "Get well soon?
