a) if i ever decide to attend a vampire weekend show [love the album, heard they were kind of a boring live act], i'll let you know how the discombobulation goes.

b) i think "crown of love" and the end of "wake up" both nod to motown in obvious ways, but i don't think i've ever heard the comparison from anyone else, so it may be just me.

c) never underestimate the power of jimmy iovine's checkbook. but goddamn, what an expensive waste of a really great song.</description>
