Rza ft. Inspectah Deck-”You Can’t Stop Me Now”

I don’t know if a light went on in the Rza’s head a while back and the guy suddenly remembered how to make dope beats again, but you can’t deny that Bobby D’s been on a roll of late, first with 8 Diagrams and now his first single from his upcoming Digi Snax album. “You Can’t Stop Me” has that stoner spaghetti Western sound of his 8 Diagrams work and while Rza’s and Deck’s lyrics might not shatter any new ground, it’s probably better than anything off Birth of a Prince. Still not sold about the name Digi Snax though. This is rap music, not an episode of Scooby Doo.

That’s the same beat King Geedorah/DOOM killed on ‘Anti-Matter’ and Mos Def butchered on ‘Undeniable’.

    DOOM’s cut is far superior.

Excuse Me mister do she got a sister
Who he not to kiss her True she do got a blister
Not a movie plot twist like a twizzler
If I needed my meat burned I’d go to Sizzler
getting paid like a biker with the best crank
Sprayed like a high ranked sniper in the West Bank
Type to just blank and don’t show much pitty
When I’m in the city I always keep a dutch with me
Touch her titty till she ask me where the trees is at
Or tell me don’t squeeze that rats wanna tease a cat
Let the dog beg wait up
who talking Doom with the hog leg straight up New Yorkin’

Good call, James. Definitely the same sample, but I wouldn’t call them the “same beat.” RZA’s flip slows it down, adds horns and a few other flourishes.

Agree about the entirety of True Magic. God that album sucked.
