it's been years for me too since the last time i seen it.
still, some of the quotes there stick with me to this day. some proving that rappers are REALLY STUPID, and some... are Biggie's.

thanks for putting up "My Block", another 2Pac song that doesn't get the Classic status it deserves (the "Better Dayz" remix as just as good).

Great post. I too have not watched that movie in sooo long. I also remember not being excactly thrilled with the movie when I saw it. I was so picky at age 14. You have inspired me to give it another look though. Anyway, keep up the good work, I love reading your stuff

Gr8 Job Jeff! I remember being literally one of only two white kids in a packed theater when I went and saw this documentary the night it opened. I recall being disappointed when I left the theater that night, but you are right...looking back now it's amazing what has happened since that time in the world of Hip-Hop...thanx for bringing back some memories...

Padraig: Agreed, Art of Storytelling was quite good, not as good as the Great Adventures Of but no doubt a solid comeback. Rick's a weird dude though, he pops up out of nowhere kills it (see "The Sun") and disappears for another two years.

Zilla & Wade: Co-sign completely. Why can't Sun God and the Gza's kid be half as good as their pops.

I'm with Zilla- I miss the old WU so bad.
And I also agree heartily w/ all the Slick Rick stuff- very sad to see the Ruler in that state.
