The Wu Coming Through
This is going to take a while to unravel, but on first listen, it’s clear that at the very least, 8 Diagrams > Iron Flag.

oooooweee, the wu is back on this track. Got that classic wu beat and some raw verses just how i like it. Hopefully the rest of the cd is consistent.

Feelin’ this. The album leaked yesterday so I’m gonna give it a go and see… hopes are not amazingly high.
Take it easy Jeff,

Thoughts? That cover is fucking weak. Secondly, I was hoping for part 2 of working at the big box store. The first installment was great.

Agreed on the cover. 5 years off and that’s the best they can do?

Album of the Year. You fools need to listen to what you’re listening to

I put this joint on my first podcast. I can listen to anybody from Wu-Tang spit over “Nautilus” forever.

this album is pretty much hot garbage. I pretty much always give you the benefit of the doubt but this time you let me down. I haven’t really been paying attention to the RZA/Rae beef but if it’s about the beats sucking well then Rae is on point. Although that track which sounds old with ODB on it is pretty fucking good.

I liked the album overall…I’ll go into detail when I finally review everything on my blog. I did have a couple of questions about the frequency with which George Clinton and Sunny Valentine appear, though.
Where is Suga Bang Bang, Tekitha, Blue Raspberry, Killah Priest and Killa Sin when you need them?
One.

Garbage. Oh well.
Go stream that new Ghost at the Def Jam site.

I won’t argue if you call this one a classic in two weeks or so. It’s pretty amazing, even edited.

This record is much much better than everyone is saying. No, it is not a classic. It’s still good.
Thanks Deen for the heads-up. Good looking out.

the drums sound like they came out of fruity loops which automatically eliminates it from being better than any of the other Wu Tang albums. Iron Flag >>>>>>>>>>>> 8 Diagrams. Ghostface Won.

“the heart gently weeps” is the end of hip hop… a shit, obvious, cash in sample from a group who should know better… accompanied by the typical ” oh poor me” rap.. fuck them .. i just wish the wu tang from 94 could here this shit and realize just how badly they have sold out. so very very disappointing. hip hop is over.
