I've always loved G Rap's flow and technical ability although sometimes the content errs on the, how shall I put it... well, I wouldn't play it to my Mum, that's for sure.

Dope post as always.

Dan

Nice drop Floodwatch, you and Robbie from UnKut are the leaders in the G Rap army. Dude was so sick with his spit. Best believe he is in your favorite rappers top five if he isn't in yours.

Oh, and get well Passion.

i always likened kool g. rap's verses to what would happen if you filled a machine gun with pages from a rhyming dictionary.

the thing about g. rap is that he's a rapper that's improved his lyricism in latter days, being one of the few old school rappers that doesn't sound like one. the only mc who even came close to matching his dizzying wordplay was big pun. my eyes still widen when i hear his verse on that big l album from a few years back.

Good lookin Flooder!

I co-sign your point on G. Rap's lack of classic album that almost always wipes him out of the top 5 MC lists.

I've never seen him live, so I can't comment on his stage presence and performance. But on a technical level, he's untouchable. And he's one of the few old school rappers that pops up on new artist albums and mixtapes year after year. Listen to his verse on Saigon's "The Letter P"---unfuckwitable.
