Great album. The world is coming to some shit when the best rap album made this year belongs to a Canadian! That Roc Marciano joint goes hard.

I think this album is pretty decent--I personally get bored with most of the MC's Marco put on this record because they mostly bitch about the current climate of rap instead of telling a dope story or putting on a verbal clinic.

My 2 favorite joints are tracks no one has mentioned in any review: "Speak Softly" with Jojo Pellegrino and "Lay it Down" with Roc Marciano. I even tried to get at Marciano about a collabo but he doesn't have myspace.

Stellar review, Weiss. A generous chunk of my favorite hip hop records were released between '89 and '92 - I don't think we'll ever get a consensus on when exactly the "Golden Ages" occurred.
