I saw them a number of times - my fondest memory is when the crew in DC let me get up on the sound platform to watch them work, not that I knew what was happening, but i will take a cheap thrill whenever I can get one :) Thanx for this concert link, I will check it out I think Europe ‘72 is the best Dead recording. I own American Beauty (throw stones Dead Heads) and maybe listened to it once. I’m going to download this show, but I can’t guarantee I’ll give it a listen. I’ll store it in my music folder and await the day I get into the Dead. At some point that day does come, doesn't it?
