You didn't put Slick Rick (the Great adventures of, or Art of Storytelling) AND you slept on PAID IN FULL by Erc. B and Rakim.
You fucked up there.

Niccce, very nice. Loved the Big Pun, Redman and Liquid Swords additions. Also, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx!

Personally, I think Only Built is one of the greatest hip hop albums ever. Period. Chef and Ghostface go together like Chronic and Ziplocks. Made to be.

Also, I would've put Mos Def's Black on Both Sides and Re-Up Gang Present's We Got It For Cheap Vol.2 I know it's a mixtape, but what's the point of the same old same old lists right?

Outkast ATLiens at number 1? Wow...one word...ballsy!!! but pure genius, because you defended your choice very well.

Whats the point in publishing a top 25 list if you have nothin different to say right? I can respectfully disagree with somechoices, but i respect the creativity and the knowledge of hip hop displayed on your list. I like how you explained non-conventional choices(Supreme clientle, Liquid Swords and ATLiens) and didnt beat a dead horse with the conventional ones (The Chronic and Illmatic). I think that UGK's Ridin Dirty and Scarface's The Diary should of got more consideration but aside from that your list is Classic.

PEACE

WU-TANG the rap Beatles!!!!

Weiss-man,

I gotta thank you for dropping this list business. It finally convinced me that getting into the solo Ghost was worth it and I've been blasting Supreme Clientele since I read it. I'm not knowledgeable enough about hip-hop to drop my own top 25 (I'm 17, and have been listening to hip-hop for only about three years) but I appreciate the effort, It's getting me into all the Hip-Hop I've overlooked.

"I'm like Malcolm / out the window with the joint / Hoodied up blood in my eye / a lead to fly"
