So whoever wrote this blog obviously does not know what he/she is talking about. This is proven when you say that “Do You Wanna Ride” is a song for the ladies. It is obviously a song for his friend who is in prison, Emory. Your scathing remarks only prove that Jay is definitely doing something right. Not only is Jay’s flow still sharp but his similes are still fresh, they are neither hackneyed or trite. Maybe you should give the album another listen. On Jay’s list of albums I would definitely rank this 4th behind Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, and Black Album. “hova the god nigga blasphemy” Honestly, true Jay fans love this album.

hiphop is dying, because the result of creative efforts is internet bloggers bashing the hell out of an album. im not sayin thats what he was doin with kingdom come, but if jigga doesnt keep putting shit out there who the hell else is gonna keep the mainstream goin strong. hova put out tons of good shit… reasonable doubt being one of the best albums out there. The crossovers and relationships with other genres of music is the only thing that will bring the change that hip hop needs… so quit bashing and let them explore until they hit something good. i think these guys know what they’re doin. ya feelin it?

first of all,jay-z is the greatest of all time, you can’t compare him to justv any rapper, he’s a hustler an artist and a legend, the boy brought water to africa, enough said, bush can’t even do that. Who ever wrote this comment doesn’t know anything about hip-hop, must be 16 yrs old. the boy jay is back and is on another level, rappers can’t come close to him, he is setting a trend and stays humble, nas, biggie, rakim, tupac is nothing compared to jay-z. Dame dash is done and so is siegal. the only guys doing there thing is nelly, eminem, usher game, and ludacris. check out what there doing, it’s bigger than hip-hop, it’s a movement.

Umm, whoever wrote this review first of all is an idiot. And second of all, whoever agrees w/it is blind. Jay-Z is taking hip hop to a new level, a level where people might actually begin to respect it as music and not just garbage. Because let’s face it, how many rappers r there now that rap about totin guns, pushin weight, and leanin and rockin? Too many. I mean if u truely love hip hop and have a passion for it, then u would have tha upmost respect for what guys like Jay-Z, Nas, Kanye, and Common (to name a few) r doing. Theyre making MUSIC people! Why do u think in a music world dominated my digital downloading and pirating these guys r STILL capable of selling millions of albums? Because people r tired of that meaningless rap that guys like jeezy, lil wayne, ludacris, and young joc make. They realize that Jay has a meaning behind his music, and they wanna hear it. Dont call rap that has intellectual lyrics and a message behind it garbage, because that makes u look like a fool for being too dumb to understand it, and it makes ur favorite type of music (hip hop) look bad.
