Of course, I can only speak from personal experience but the next thing I knew I went from being apathetic to the Dead to being a Deadhead. It was weird but strangely awesome.

Speaking of wigs, I’m not sure if I’ve told you this, but I was thinking about wearing one (or several) during my last semester of law school. Like Kool Keith. Because I can’t think of too many other times when I could pull that off. Like most of my lifestyle choices as a 3L, this was inspired by extreme boredom.

And I’m glad someone in our party was more with it than I was. I remember them playing “Don’t Come Down Here” for about a half hour, and nothing else I could recognize amidst the feedback. Plus the lead singer looks like Prince combined with the guy in Prince’s band who wore the Japanese doorag.

It is true that they could be westside hipsters, which is a myth on par with the abominable snowman…tons of alleged sightings…no real confirmations…however, the crowd was very eastside. I’ll chalk it up to the weirdness of serena maneesh.
