[...] I once wrote an essay (humor me) tying the foulness of this decade to the lack of classic Nate Dogg singles. Needless to say, this development does not bode well for the future of this nation. [...]

I got Love is a great song. I forget about that one. "Never leave me alone" probably also warranted a mention. If nothing else for the fact that 50 cent stole the video and song's plot for 21 questions.

You forgot to mention Nate Dogg classics like "You Make my high come down," which definitely marked the pinnacle of Chico & Coolwata's career, whoever they are. Also, his appearance on E-40's "Nah Nah Nah" also merits being mentioned. Those singles helped me cope with the madness that surrounded the Florida recount mess of '00.

LMAO at Zilla's "Refusal to smile in any rap video" line.

Although I do enjoy the stylings of Nate Dogg, I have to say that I hate his name. You see, every dumb white girl I meet reacts like this when I tell her my name. "Oh your name is Nate? Like Nate Dogg?" Bitch, do I look like a Nate Dogg!?!?!

Hmm...this still fits nicely into my Nate Dogg time scheme as December of 01 and the end of the first war would be his last major appearance then. Since Iraq began and everything really went downhill he still has been absent. It is really weird. Did you catch this article in the LA Weekly
http://www.laweekly.com/general/features/moment-of-truce/13853/

Where the hell is Nate Dogg? If he returns Angelides' days are numbered.

Jeff, you know that I digg what you do, but you forgot one crucial piece of Nate Dogg cameo history.

The video for Fabolous' "Can't Deny It" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RUywvUxUi8) which was released in July or August of 2001 and featured a delightful color scheme of red, white & blue quickly became a video in heavy rotation after 9/11 on MTV. It was a catchy tune with a nice Nate Dogg chorus and patroitc colors. So Nate Dogg was there.

Why Nate Dogg could save the country, but I wish he would take baby steps and save California first. He would've totally won the Democratic primary a few weeks ago and his first act would've probbaly been no song featuring both Ice Cube & Snoop Dogg should have a hook/chorus by Lil Jon.

I have yet to see this incredible Head of State appearance. The way I see it, he couldn't do worse than Tom DeLay or Bill Frist. Damn why didn't I think of the Smoke Weed every day slogan. It's Brilliant.

Nate has already dabbled in politics, playing the offical crooner of Chris Rock's presidential campaign in "Head of State." Note Nate's dashing American flag themed pimp outfit--why is this man NOT in the Senate??? His charisma, divine throat and refusal to smile at any time in a rap video would lower gas prices AND settle the nuclear fears in Korea.
America, don't fall asleep at the wheel. Nate Dogg in '08.

Smoke weed every day.
