cash money post. I was sure that you were gonna put Subaru's in the top 5 to jack since that is the Williamsburg, NYC hipster whip, but alas no Forester-jack tips. Anyhoo...

The MPV was the fisrt and only? minivan to be embraced by the 'hood. I may have some pics of them in pimped out rims and body effect kits. The MPV was considered gully even though minivans were for soccer moms.

SAAB's motto is "born from jets" because they make the fighter planes for the Swedish Air Force, most notably the Gripen and Viggen.

that truck was awesome.

i've been meaning to tell you that on Tuesday some Matisyahu lookalike came into sea level while i was there. i honestly thought it was him. then i went over to eavesdrop on him and his friends and they were standing in the M section saying "it should be right here. mat...i don't see it anywhere. i can't believe they don't have it." i immediately checked out matisyahu's website and apparently he's in canada touring with dave matthews. so i don't think it was him....

When "C.R.E.A.M." dropped, MPV's were among the first SUV-type cars to explode as a popular vehicle among the hoi polloi. On top of that, Mazdas had a high "street" value on account of their Japanese parts, I believe. At least, that's how my uninformed, anecdote-driven memory is serving me right now. (Maybe Nate can drop some knowledge?) Perhaps the MPV fascination was a result of the zeitgeist.
